Ashden came downstairs today with this cute Argyle sweater on that he got for Xmas. All I could say was "Awww". He looked at me like I was crazy, then I went grabbing for the camera. As many of you have had the chance to witness he is growing up, doing alot of changing, and looking older. Now if we could just get him to act like he's growing up we'd be in business!

Ashden's growing up
Ashden came downstairs today with this cute Argyle sweater on that he got for Xmas. All I could say was "Awww". He looked at me like I was crazy, then I went grabbing for the camera. As many of you have had the chance to witness he is growing up, doing alot of changing, and looking older. Now if we could just get him to act like he's growing up we'd be in business!
The dogs are getting a bath!
Here they are my drowned little rats. Poor Ace this was his very 1st bath, and by the end of it he was traumatized! He tried climbing his way out the entire time. Yorkies sure are cute dry, but wet...uhm not so much. Look at those ears, I swear Ellie looks part Chiauaua. While I dried Ace off he whined, cried, and shook, Ellie was right there to see what was wrong, I know she really likes him.

Reese goes to the Library
Reese and her BFF Maggie at storytime at the library. Friday mornings at 10am.
Taking pictures at the library and at home. Reese has her bitty baby "Mina" (which she named). Here they are in matching dresses!!

Well, on Thursday night after not finding the new puppy for some time, we started calling his name and his whinning led us into the kitchen. Ashden and I were down on our hands and knees looking in cabinets and between the stove and cabinet, no Ace. We could hear him, and just then I opened....the refridgerator!!! The poor little guy was sitting down on the bottom shelf with the condiments, shivvering and whinning. I of course took him out right away, but after talking to a friend realized I have to add this to my blog. So very quickly we reenacted for you to share this picture. You never know with those little dogs where they will end up.

Another day snowed in
Another day snowed in, yet again. It is funny though that we are constantly complaining "It's too cold", or "Oh no, not ANOTHER snow day". The reason being that it is so comical is because IT IS WINTER PEOPLE! And this is Indiana! It is like this every year. Some times we get snow before Thanksgiving, sometimes not. Sometimes it barely snows by the time Christmas rolls around, and god knows that is really the only reason any of us want snow. What would it be like waking up to a snow-less Christmas? I had a conversation with my cousin today and we laughed at the thought of having Christmas in July. We were visioning a pool party, with Christmas music blaring in the background. Maybe hula girls instead of snowmen, and serving margaritas instead of hot cocoa. Sounds good to me. No shopping in the nasty cold, and everyone would still be busy at work, so Christmas wouldn't break the bank. I don't know I guess it doesn't really matter what the weather, because we rarely are happy with the weather anyways. It won't be long before everyone will be complaining of all the rain, and with rain comes all that mud. Kids tracking it in and out of the house, as if us moms have absolutely nothing better to do with our precious time than clean up after them. Soon after the last of the showers dry up then come the heat waves. Summer, you know when the weather changes from 45 to 95 in the same day? All those dreadful days that scorch your grass until it turns brown.
Anyways, what do you do move I guess to somewhere warmer that has more of a controlled climate? That may work, until you make that first phone call back home only to hear your friends bragging about how they are enjoying a beautiful fall day. Kids playing in the leaves, and getting all those great outdoor pictures. Or maybe they will tell you they just had an awesome snowball fight, or took the kids on a fun day of sledding. All the while you are waking up to yet another bright sunny day just like it was the day before and exactly like it will be the next day. Whatever the weather we are never happy, and always have something to complain about. We say we can't wait until Spring, but when it is here we are wishing for Summer. Oh well, I guess for now we enjoy our time indoors , dream about warmer weather, and FREEZE our butts off!!!!!
