Ha, you are all damn crazy if you think I am the one having the baby!! Actually Ashden is doing a school project for his Home Ec. class, and this "week" they have to be a parent to their 5 lbs. of "FLOUR" baby!
Seriously, 1 week is a joke, but it gets better. - He had to cover the flour in duck tape, so my flour grandson is a nice shade of shiny silver. He is sporting a Build a Bear t-shirt, one of Reese's baby diapers (that I didn't know I had) and a Nike blue sweatband on his head. It is truly a funny sight. I will try to add a pic of him. By the way his name is Oliver, which was almost Ace's name. Soo cute.
So anyways, he has to take this "Baby" with him everywhere, and evidently gets 4 hours a day of babysitter time. I think I want to trade my kids in for flour babies, 4 hours a day WOW! And I a sure he is getting this 4 hours a day for FREE. So he lugs the child around in a duffle bag, which was the teachers idea, since kids are so mean she didn't want anyone to break them open (good idea). I did however have to remind him that he must at least leave the zipper open. LOL. Rileigh had a basketball game last night and he and a friend had to take them there, and of course I had to babysit while I was there.
Ash was really funny talking about it yesterday all he kept saying is" I have to take that thing with me there too?" I said "Yep, Ash you have to take there everywhere!" I said at least he doesn't talk back!
Ashden has been packing his lunch for school the past 3 days, and when I questioned why, his response was "Mom, do you know how hard it is to carry this baby, and get a lunch tray?" Him and his friend were taking turns watching each others babies while they got their lunch.I thought this was hilarious, that he is starting to get a mere glimpse of how hard it could be with a child even if it is only a 5lb bag of flour!
